Megan’s Story: Finding Her Path to Stability

When Megan first came to Pathways, she was in crisis—facing the challenges of domestic violence, divorce, and raising her daughter alone. She had visited the food pantry once, unsure how she would make ends meet.

But everything began to change when she joined the Your Path Program. With guidance from her mobility mentor and consistent encouragement, Megan started to rebuild her confidence and take control of her future.

Over just ten meetings, she created a budget, opened a savings account for her daughter, and learned how to manage her small business finances. For the first time, she knew exactly where her money was going—and how to make it work for her.

Megan’s income soon began to grow. She could meet her family’s basic needs, invest in her business, and begin saving toward a lifelong dream: owning a home.

Today, Megan stands as a testament to the power of resilience, community, and opportunity. Through Pathways, she found more than support—she found her path forward.
