Interested in Joining the Pathways Board of Directors?

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of families in our community? Consider joining the Pathways Board of Directors!

What’s Involved?
Board members serve a 3-year term (April through March) and commit to the following:

  • Attend one 1-hour board meeting each month.
  • Participate in one 1-hour committee meeting as scheduled (typically monthly, sometimes less).
  • Support special events and initiatives as needed.
  • Contribute time, expertise, and resources to help Pathways thrive.

How to Get Started:
Board Interest Forms are now being accepted for terms beginning April 1. If you or someone you know is interested, follow these steps:

  1. Learn More: Watch our brief introductory video/webinar to get a snapshot of what board membership entails. (Note: Some details may be out-of-date, but it’s a great first look!)
  2. Complete an Interest Form: Submit our non-binding Application of Interest to let us know you’re considering joining. ** May be closed during "off season" of recruitment.
  3. Let’s Chat: Within one week of submitting your form, we’ll contact you to schedule an informational meeting. This can take place in person or via Zoom with the Executive Director and a representative from the Board Development Committee. We’ll discuss what board service involves, answer your questions, and explore how your skills and passions align with Pathways’ mission.

Committee Service

All Board members serve on at least one committee - while many choose to serve on two. We also have non-board member positions available on most committees. Please contact our Board Development Chair for more information.

Our standing committees are:

  • Board Development
  • Program
  • Personnel
  • Finance
  • Fundraising

Most committees meet monthly, although circumstances may call for more or fewer meetings. Typically, meetings have been held at MCUM, at a committee member's place of work, or on Zoom, and last about one hour.
