We're here for you!

The Family Resource Center at Pathways supports Compass Early Learning Center families with essential services and long-term self-sufficiency programs. We provide weekly grocery, cleaning, and hygiene items, conveniently delivered to Compass for easy pick-up during child pick-up times, saving families both money and time.

Additionally, we offer Opportunity Funds to help families manage financial challenges, such as housing costs, medical bills, or debt consolidation. Our Your Path program pairs caregivers with mentors for a 2-3 year journey toward greater stability in areas like housing, wellness, and career development, helping families achieve lasting economic mobility.

With the Family Resource Center, caregivers can:

Select key grocery items their family members enjoy, saving more than $75/ week!

Replace hygiene items (toothbrushes, shampoo, etc.) and cleaning products (toilet paper, trash bags, laundry & dish detergent, etc.) to keep their family and home well cared for.

Receive store credit to purchase clothing and shoes for their constantly-growing children and replace small housewares (lamps, sheets, towels, etc.). 

Save up to buy a new car, purchase a home, or something else!

Groceries

Order food as often as once per week. Complete the form (available at Compass ELC) by selecting items your family will enjoy and placing it in the file. We will bag groceries during the day and have them ready for you when you pick up your child!

Cleaning Products

You can order a limited number of cleaning and hygiene products each week on the same form you use to order groceries. The order form will be updated with products we have available. We will bag all orders during the day and have them ready by pickup.

Hygiene Items

Order a limited number of hygiene items each week based on our listing of what we have available. Items such as toothpaste, shampoo, hand soap, and more will be offered as long as we have them available. Orders will be bagged during the day and ready by pickup.

Clothing & Housewares

Every 3 months, families can receive a store credit voucher to use at our partner resale shop, the Opportunity House. The gently-used clothing, towels, bedding, shoes, and other various items are meticulously sorted and cared for by Opportunity House volunteers, who price each item at the lowest rates you'll ever find - allowing you to replenish seasonal wardrobes and replace outgrown shoes when you need to!

Opportunity Fund: Financial Assistance

Through the Opportunity Fund, you can apply for financial assistance to fill a gap in a necessary expense. Whether you use this for housing costs (rent/mortgage, utilities, repairs), transportation (car purchase or repair), debts (paying bills, consolidate loans), education (semester of books, a class, etc.), or something else (extracurricular opportunity for child) is up to you. This fund is designed to make sure families are supported in meeting their needs and pursuing improved family stability and well-being. You must apply for this and be selected. There is a limit to how much financial assistance a household may receive in one calendar year.

Your Path

Your Path is a 2-3 year long program that pairs you with a dedicated, supportive mentor who is trained in economic mobility mentoring. Participants choose a mid and long-term goal in a category of their choice (family stability, health and wellness, education and career, savings and debts, and more) and make a plan to achieve it. We celebrate with incentives, such as prepaid gift cards and reduced tuition.
